Samuel "Sam" Colt Roudebush

Samuel “Sam” Colt Roudebush, of Bedford, Indiana, passed away on August 30, 2026, in New Albany, Indiana. He was born on February 10, 1999, in Bloomington, Indiana.

Sam will be remembered for the things he loved most in life. He enjoyed working at the cave, traveling, and spending time outdoors. He also loved westerns and had a special bond with his fur baby, Jeb. More than anything, Sam treasured time shared with family and friends, and those moments will remain close in the hearts of all who knew him.

He is survived by his father, Carey Roudebush; fiancé, Tiffany Moody; his grandmother, Joyce Robertson; grandfather, Dan Robertson; his brother, Randell (Hollyrose) Roudebush; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. Each of them held an important place in Sam’s life, and his memory will continue to live on through their love and remembrance.

Sam was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Thompson.

Those who knew Sam will remember his love of adventure, his appreciation for the outdoors, and the joy he found in the people and companions he cared about most. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
