Sally L. (Mccullough) Caldwell

Sally L. (McCullough) Caldwell, 80, of Henryville, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2021. Sally was a member of the Underwood Baptist Church and loved drawing, painting, crafting, traveling, and dining out. Of all her pastimes, her favorite was spending time with her family and giving hugs to all her grandchildren.

She was born on January 26, 1941, in Letts, Indiana, to the late Rolland and Hazel (Campbell) McCullough. Along with her parents, Sally is preceded in death by her siblings, Leota Jayne and Melvin McCullough.

Sally is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Ervin Caldwell; children, Cindy (Eddie) Porter, Gregory (Connie) Caldwell, Pat (Bob) Patterson, Machell (Bobby) Mullins, and Shawna (Mike) Law; 16 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 14, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany (3309 Ballard Lane). Her Memorial Service will follow at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at a later date in the Mountain Grove Cemetery in Henryville. Cremation was chosen in regards to Sally's wishes.

The family requests that contributions in Sally's memory be made to the National Kidney Association.
