Ryan Christopher Trusty, 28, of Greenville, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2020. Ryan enjoyed riding anything on two wheels that went fast, working on motorcycles and automobiles, participating in BMX and Motocross events, and spending time at the family farm.
He was born on September 27, 1991, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, to Christopher Trusty and Donna (Cockeril) Rufing. He is preceded in death by two grandmothers, Joyce Rufing and Linda Beam.
Ryan is survived by his mother, Donna (Jason) Rufing; fiance, Brittany McPherson; son, Lachlan Trusty; stepchildren, Camille Coriell and Ethan Coriell; siblings, Alyssa (Evan) Trusty, Nicholas Trusty, and Colton Rufing; grandparents, Donald Cockeril, Connie Cockeril, and Roger Rufing; a niece and nephew; and many cousins and friends that he loved.
Memorial Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 13, 2020, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany. His Memorial Service will be follow at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday in the chapel at the funeral home.
The family requests that contributions in Ryan's memory be made to Norton Children's Hospital Foundation (Department 86140, P.O. Box 950183, Louisville, KY 40295).
