Ruth "MeeMaw" Schoenbaechler, 91, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at Jewish Hospital.
She was born on February 16, 1927 in Louisville, Kentucky to Evert and Mima (Downs) Witten. She is preceded in death by her parents, and Granddaughter, April Collins.
Ruth is survived by her Daughter, Carolyn Burns, Son, Michael Schoenbaechler (Jana), Son, Larry Schoenbaechler, 10 Grandchildren, 23 Great Grandchildren, and 3 Great Great Grandchildren.
Her Memorial Service will be at 3:00 pm on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy).
The family requests that contributions in Ruth's memory be made to Down Syndrome of Louisville, www.downsyndromeoflouisville.org.
