Ruth Anita Justice

Ruth Anita Justice, 78, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021. Ruth was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was advocate for education and making sure her grandchildren excelled and had every opportunity. Ruth worked at Sullivan University for over 25 years, and was loved by the students and campus facility. She enjoyed spending time at the their camp at Brookville Lake Resort over the years.

She was born on January 7, 1943 in Meade County, Kentucky to Allie and Dean (Prather) Dunn. She is preceded in death by her Parents, Siblings, Harold Dunn, Norma Jean Dunn, Pleas Dunn, Charlie Dunn, and Deborah Jackson.

Ruth is survived by her loving Husband of 52 years, Charles Justice, Son, Charles (Heather) Justice, Grandchildren, Charles Justice, Breanna Justice, and Christopher Justice, Great-Grandchild, Stella Justice. Ruth also leaves behind to cherish her memory a host of Nieces, Nephews, Friends, and Extended Family.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, January 25, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery (Central) in Radcliff, Kentucky.

Memorials in Ruth's memory may be made to the ASPCA.
