Ruth Jenkins, age 85 of Louisville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, March 22, 2017. She was a member of Southeast Christian Church. Ruth was preceded in death by her siblings, Faye Heimer, Jules Miller and Paul Miller.
Ruth is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, George Thomas Jenkins; her son, James Dennis Jenkins; 5 grandchildren; brother-in-law, Charles Jenkins (Phyllis); sister-in-law, Helen Miller; caregiver, Donna Harrison (Kevin); numerous loving nieces and nephews; and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be 1-6pm on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown. A celebration of Ruth's life will be 11am Monday, March 27th at the funeral home, with burial to follow at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, KY at 2pm.
Memorials may be made to the Proclamation of the Word Ministries at Southeast Christian.
