Ruth Marie Jacobs

Ruth Marie Jacobs, 70, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2024. Ruth was a loving and devoted wife, sister, and mother. She will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.

She was born on November 27, 1953 in Louisville, Kentucky to Orvil and Gloria (Bolin) Read. She is preceded in death by her father, Orvil Read; mother, Gloria Read; and husband, Douglas Jacobs.

Ruth is survived by her loving family, son, James Jacobs; siblings, Mary Smith, Robert (Barbara) Read, Sanda (John) Mead, Harley (Deborah) Read; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.
