Winters Russell Albert, 93, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on August 25, 2015. He retired from JCPS and he was a WWII Veteran.
Russell was born on April 30, 1922 in Chicago, Illinois.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Winters, and his sister, Violet.
He is survived by his step-children, Marion Arnold (Tom), Anna Skaggs, Billy Thrasher, Benny Thrasher (Amy), Joe Thrasher, Brenda Witowski (Thad), Margie LeMaster (Wayne); and many loving grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home (10304 Dixie Hwy, Lou, KY) with a funeral service to follow at 12 p.m. Burial will be held at Cave Hill Cemetery.
