Sam Howell, 96, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2020.

Sam was born on February 12, 1924 in Hodgenville, Kentucky to Jesse and Lucy Howell. He is preceded in death by his Wife, Kathleen (Bradley) Howell, His Parents, Daughter, Pamela Collins, and several Brothers and Sisters.

Sam is survived by his Daughters, Patricia Lockard (Eugene) and Phyllis Donlon (John), Brother, Doyle "Micky" Howell, 7 Grandchildren and 12 Great-Grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Monday, July 13, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - East Louisville, (235 Juneau Drive). His Funeral Service will follow at 12:00 pm with burial in Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery in Hodgenville, KY.

The family requests that contributions in Sam's memory be made to Corinth Baptist Church, C/O Rhonda Cundiff, 1700 Herbert Howell Rd. Hodgenville, KY 42748-9219.
