Ruby F.(Miller) Bailey

Ruby Fay (Miller) Bailey, 87, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on April 24, 2016. She was born on March 19, 1929, in New York City, New York, to James and Hazel (Schrenkengast) Miller. Ruby was a proud member of her church, the First Assembly of God, for more than sixty years. She also enjoyed going to yard sales and quilting in her spare time.

Along with her parents, Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, James T. Bailey, and son, Gene Bailey, sister, Ann Darland. She is survived by her loving children; Kenny (Connie), Paul (Barbara), Mark Bailey, and Marcie Bruce (Gerald Reid); grandchildren, Kenny Bailey, Jr., Casey Grodrian, and Shelby Bruce; step-grandchildren, Lee Ann Blankenbaker, Kim Hickman, Richard Striegel, and Chris Striegel; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150 from 4 to 8 PM. Her service will be held on Thursday, April, 28, 2016 at 10 AM at the First Assembly of God (2778 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, IN 47150) with visitation before from 9-10 AM. Burial will follow at Kraft Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.
