Rubin Richard Ashley

Rubin Richard Ashley, 69, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2022. Rubin enjoyed spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren. He loved playing golf and going fishing. Rubin was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He was born on June 9, 1952 in Louisville, Kentucky to Rubin and Helen (Skaggs) Ashley. He is preceded in death by his Father, and Son, Jeff Ashley.

Rubin is survived by his loving Wife of 52 years, Janice Ashley, Sons, Richie (Conny) Ashley, and Chris Ashley, Mother, Helen Ashley, Grandchildren, Morgan Ashley, Jared Ashley, and Cameron Ashley, Brother, Barry (Susie) Ashley. Rubin also leaves behind to cherish his memory a host of Nieces, Nephews, Friends, and Extended Family.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, (10304 Dixie Highway). His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
