Roy Thomas (Pat) Murphy, 86, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, October 5, 2020. Roy loved sitting outside in the sun socializing with his neighbors. He loved spending time with his family especially his grandkids and being mayor of 8th street.

He was born on July 6, 1934 in Louisville, Kentucky to Ezra and Arr-Mae Murphy. He is preceded in death by his Wives, Marrianne Murphy and Carolyn Murphy.

Roy is survived by a host of family and friends to cherish his memory.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Celebration of Life Service will be at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
