Roy Lee Markland

Roy Lee Markland, 80, of Georgetown, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2020. Roy was a member of Tunnel Hill Christian Church, the Masonic Lodge of Greenville, and was retired from Dow DuPont after 40 plus years of service. He loved working with his hands and completed many tasks in life. Roy will be remembered for never meeting a stranger and was a friend to many.

He was born on March 8, 1940 in Fredericksburg, Indiana to the late Thomas and Rubie (Simpson) Markland.

Roy is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Yvonne M. (Combs) Markland; children, Brenda (Robert) Stumler, Jeff (Tamara) Markland, and Doug (Melanie) Markland; 3 granddaughters and 1 grandson; 2 great-grandsons; and siblings, Norman (Sandy) Markland; Arlene Lindig, and Connie (Victor) McKinley-Goldas.

Cremation was chosen and no services have been scheduled at this time.

The family requests that contributions in Roy's memory be made to the Greenville, Indiana Masonic Lodge.
