Roy Houston Pollard Sr.

Roy Houston Pollard Sr., 66, , passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2015 in Jeffersonville, Indiana.

Roy was born on November 21, 1948 in Columbia, Kentucky to Twyman H. and Vela (Hoots) Pollard. Roy was an avid UK fan and enjoyed going to bluegrass concerts.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Avis Marie Pollard.

He is survived by his children; Roy H. Pollard, Lisa (Hoback) Pollard, John A. Pollard; siblings, Fay Rone, Sue Schimmerhorn, David Pollard, Rhule Pollard; 4 grandchildren, James, Bradley, and Hunter Hoback, and Aidan Pollard.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM on Monday, October 5, 2015, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150). His Funeral Service will be at 11 AM on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery.
