Roy C. Bray

Roy C. Bray, 71, departed this life on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at Jewish Hospital.

He was born on March 16, 1955, to Roy C. Bray Sr. and Lucy Jane Bray, who preceded him in death.

Roy attended Shawnee High School and proudly served in the United States Army.

Roy was a loving and kindhearted person who cared deeply for those he loved. He enjoyed cooking, working with his hands, and putting things together. He was very skilled and took pride in his work. He also enjoyed watching his favorite sports teams.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his sister, Dr. Syvoskie Bray Pope; his brother, Gregory Bray; three nephews, Leton, Gregory, and Galvin; one niece, Charlene, who preceded him in death; his aunts, Deborah and Pat; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.

A Memorial Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., with fellowship and snacks. The service will begin at 2:00 p.m.
