Rosetta M. Land, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on August 13, 2026, in New Albany, Indiana, surrounded by her loving family. Born on July 26, 1976, in Virginia, Rosetta embodied warmth, creativity, and unwavering dedication to her family throughout her life.

Rosetta’s greatest pride and joy were her children and grandchildren. Being a mother and grandmother was the most important role she ever held, and she devoted herself wholeheartedly to nurturing, supporting, and uplifting those she loved. Her legacy lives on in her cherished children: Miya (Dylan) Land, Casey (Amber) Land, Daniel Cunningham, Jonathan Land, Chance Pope, and Memphis Land. The light of her life was further brightened by her grandchildren: Aidenn, Emma, Alora, Ella, and Kayson, each carrying forward her spirit and affection.

Rosetta is deeply mourned by her sister, Lorraina (Craig) Aldridge; her brothers, JR Land, Frank Land, and Joseph Land; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Their memories of her strength, love, and laughter will endure.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ora and Alberta Land; and her brother, John Land.

A proud stay-at-home mom, Rosetta dedicated her days to providing and supporting her children and grandchildren, always finding fulfillment in the comfort and happiness she brought to her family. Her heart overflowed with creativity-a true enthusiast of arts and crafts, Rosetta delighted in expressing herself through her handiwork. She found solace and joy in trips to the beach, often relishing precious moments with loved ones by the water. Her culinary talents were legendary within her family, and cooking for them became a beloved way to express her care and affection.

Rosetta enjoyed journaling and found meaning in reflecting on life’s moments. She embraced the art of tattoos as a form of self-expression. Quiet evenings spent watching her favorite murder mystery shows became her personal retreat, a time to unwind and indulge her curiosity. She loved hearing about and talking about Jesus.

Family and friends are invited to honor and celebrate Rosetta’s life at North Church, 1732 Thames Drive, Clarksville, IN 47129. A Celebration of Life beginning at 11:00 AM with visitation to follow until 4:00 PM.

Rosetta M. Land touched countless lives with her kindness, integrity, and boundless love. While she is dearly missed, her legacy endures in the hearts of all those who knew and cherished her.
