Rosetta (Strickland) Joe

Rosetta (Strickland) Joe, 92, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2020. Rosetta was a member of the Gilt Edge Baptist Church in Jeffersonville and was known for her famous cooking at the former Frank's Steak House. Cooking was her passion, and she did it often for her friends and family. She enjoyed collecting cook books and spending time with her family, especially her many grandchildren.
She was born on May 29, 1927, in Holly Springs, Mississippi, to the late Levi Strickland and Octavia (Wells) Redd.
Rosetta is survived by her loving children, Diane Denny, Abby Joe, Tracy Joe, and Edward L. (JoAnn) Joe II; 11 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Due to the current health restrictions, Visitation and Services will be held privately for the immediate family.
