Rosemary Kiesler

Rosemary (Barr) "Boots" Kiesler, 84, passed away on December 10, 2016. A 1951 New Albany High School graduate. She was the former owner and operator of both the House of Rosemary in New Albany and The Master's Frame Shop in Clarksville.

Rosemary was born on November 4, 1932 to the late Herbert & Laura (French) Barr. She is preceded in death by her children, Mary Catherine & John Kiesler; and her 7 brothers & sisters; grandson, Matthew Kiesler.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Melvin Kiesler; children, Michael (Irene), Greg (Darlene), & Terry (Janet) Kiesler; grandchildren, Andrea Stites, Adam, Benjamin, Joseph, TJ, Jeremy Kiesler, and Diana Jahn; great grandchildren, Madyson Lorch, William and Jackson Stites, Avarey, Wyatt, Grace, Faith, Daniel, Ashlyn, & Anistyn Kiesler.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 14, 2016, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150) from 2:30 to 7pm. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held immediately following visitation at 7pm. A Memorial Gathering will be held at St. Michael's Catholic Church Rectory (11400 Farmers Lane NE, Greenville, IN 47124) on Thursday, December 15, from 2 to 4pm. Her final resting place will be at St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery in Bradford, IN.
