Rosemary Ann (Curry) Beanblossom Shumate

Rosemary Ann (Curry) Beanblossom Shumate, 94, entered peacefully into heaven on Saturday, August 12, 2017 where she was welcomed by the loving arms of our Lord and Savior. She was also welcomed by her late husbands, Keith Beanblossom and Albert Shumate, along with several loving children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, and close friends that had preceded her.

She is survived by her children, Nicki Slaughter (Jim), Linda Carter (Ken), Carolyn Richey, Albert T. Shumate (Linda), Janice Shumate; loving grandchildren, Michelle Meffert (Ron), Chad Slaughter (Jillian), Dan Wentworth (Julia), Amy Livers, AJ Richey (Amy), Donald Byerley, Larry Smith (Angie), Stephanie Partin (Chuck), Rob Shumate (Allison); many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and several loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 2 PM to 8 PM Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Wednesday after 10 AM. Her Funeral Service will take place at 11 AM on Wednesday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
