Rose Wages

Rose Wages, 75, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2025. A loving mom and a devoted nurse for 30 years; 20 years in Labor & Delivery and 10 years as a Family Health Nurse Practitioner. Rose was known for her unwavering compassion & dedication, leaving a lasting positive impact on countless lives.

She was born on March 21, 1950, in New York, New York, to the late Roberto Iglesias and Aida Ramirez Texter. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Sgt. Maj. Paul Kenneth Wages Jr., and her stepfather, William Texter.

Rose is survived by her loving children, Joshua (Alysse) Hollis and Erica Hollis; sister, Maria Partridge (Richard Johnson); and grandchildren, Mia, Margot, Elliot, and Reid.

A Memorial Gathering will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday, April 19, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana). Her Memorial Service will follow at 12:00 pm on Saturday, at the funeral home. Cremation was chosen following Rose's wishes.
