Rose Marie Fleming Hardin, 76, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, October 11, 2019. Rose was the owner and operator of Fabrications by Rose and Co. in Louisville since 1988. Over the years, she spent time teaching Sunday school and was a member of Christ Gospel Church in Jeffersonville. Rose enjoyed gardening, doing remodeling projects and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. She will be remembered for her passionate love for life and for her Lord and Savior.
She was born on June 21, 1943 in Bonnieville, Kentucky to the late Creed and Lorena Hornback Fleming. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Don Hardin; and brother, John Fleming.
Rose is survived by her loving daughters, Donna (Paul) Blevins and Tammy (Tony) Gathof; grandchildren, Donny, Taylor (David), Hannah, Lydia and Nicholas; great-grandchild, Mackenzie; sisters, Sue (Bob) Turner, June (Wayne) Roberts and Rhonda Fleming; and Anthony Turner, who was like a grandson to her.
Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and from 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Thursday before the funeral. Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, at the funeral home with burial to follow at New Albany National Cemetery.
