Rosa Lee Harding

Rosa Lee (Harpe) Harding, 87, of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, July 4, 2021. Rose loved the outdoors. She was an avid gardener and really enjoyed taking care of her flowers and vegetables. Rose was a member of Antioch Christian Church in Elizabeth.

She was born on March 31, 1934, in Magnet, Indiana, to the late Albert and Mildred (Johnson) Harpe. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of nearly 70 years, Jesse Abraham Harding; son-in-law, Gary Elliott; daughter-in-law, Julie Harding; brothers, Albert, Barton and Loren Harpe; and sister, Mary Ruth Northrup.

Rose is survived by her daughter, Linda Elliott; son, Dave Harding; grandchildren, Jason (Wendy) Elliott, Jeremy Elliott, Matthew (Jialita) Harding, and Amanda Harding; great-grandchildren, J.J. Elliott, Brady Elliott, Hayleigh Harding, Parker Harding, Joshua Elliott, and Breanna Elliott; and brother, Robert (Carolyn) Harpe.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 11, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Antioch Christian Church Cemetery in Elizabeth, Indiana.
