Ronnie Harold Scott

Ronnie Harold Scott, 68, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2020. He was a long-time member and active Sunday School teacher at Scottsville Christian Church in Floyds Knobs. Ronnie enjoyed fishing and gardening and was especially proud of his roses he grew. He was a sports enthusiast and avid IU fan and enjoyed playing cards.

He was born on November 7, 1951, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to the late Harold and Norma (Ryker) Scott. Ronnie is survived by his loving wife, JoAnn (Shephard) Scott; brother, Gary Scott (Rhonda); niece and nephews, Paul (Nichole), Lawrence (Melissa), and Lynette (Jeremy); aunt, Mary Ellen Gray; as well as many cousins and extended family members.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, August 3, 2020, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with a Masonic service taking place at 7:00 p.m. His funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday in the chapel at the funeral home with burial to follow at Salem Cemetery in Cross Plains, Indiana.
