Ronnie “Ron” Hasting, 69, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2025. Born on March 3, 1956, in Louisville, Kentucky, Ron was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose warmth and humor lit up every room he entered.
He is survived by his two beloved sons, Scotty Hasting and Corey Hasting, who will forever cherish his guidance, laughter, and unwavering love. Ron was extremely proud of his sons—he told just about everyone he came in contact with how much they meant to him and how proud he was of the men they had become. He also leaves behind his stepson, Tim Gamble, who held a special place in Ron’s heart and was part of the family Ron loved so deeply.
He also leaves behind his brothers, Bernie and Mike Hasting, cherished grandchildren, and many extended family members and lifelong friends.
Ron was truly larger than life. He had a deep love for golf, never passed up a karaoke mic, and was always quick with a joke or story that left everyone smiling. His infectious laugh, big personality, and kind heart made him unforgettable to anyone lucky enough to know him.
He lived with heart, humility, and a great sense of humor. Ron brought light to the lives of others, and his legacy lives on through the joy he shared, the love he gave, and the stories that will continue to be told for years to come.
