Ronnie Eugene Kirkham

Ronnie Eugene Kirkham, known to many as Ron, passed away on August 28, 2026, in Corydon, Indiana, at the age of 80. He was born on January 9, 1946, in New Albany, Indiana.

Ron lived a life marked by service, dedication, and steady character. He proudly served in the United States Air Force, an experience that reflected his sense of duty and commitment. In his professional life, he worked for many years as an Administrative Materials Manager with the Scottsdale School District in Arizona, where he brought reliability and care to his work.

He will be remembered as a hardworking, honest, and straightforward man, as well as a compassionate father, brother, and friend. Those who knew Ron understood him as someone who approached life with sincerity and strength, and whose presence brought reassurance to the people around him.

Ron is survived by his stepsons, Timothy Stewart (Stephanie) and Cameron Stewart (Grace); his stepdaughter, Christie Hart (Brian); his sister, Kathy Pierce; his brother, Lloyd Kirkham; his stepsister, Dottie Trivette; and his stepbrother, Curtis Pearl (Kathy), and six loving step grandchildren. He also leaves behind the many family members and friends who will continue to carry his memory with affection and gratitude.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Myra Kirkham, and by his parents, Ansi Pearl and Eugene Kirkham.

Ronnie Eugene Kirkham will be remembered with respect, love, and appreciation for a life of service, hard work, and compassion. His memory will remain a lasting comfort to those who knew and loved him.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
