Ronnie Eugene Montgomery, 68, of Cub Run, KY passed away on December 19, 2014.
Ronnie was born on February 9, 1946. He was a retired truck driver after over 35 years on the road. He enjoyed playing golf and music. Ronnie was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Ronnie is survived by his wife, Carletta (Miller) Montgomery; children, Ronnie Montgomery, Jr., April Wilson, Lisa Emmitt, Cathy Masters, Patty Zimmerman, Rhonda Montgomery, Travis Montgomery, and Maggie Whobrey; step-children, Linnea Embry, Andrea Vanzant, and Cliff Embry; sister, Julia Burkhart; brothers Tommy Woosley and Danny Cunningham; step-brother, Richard Woosley; 26 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 12:00pm to 8:00pm on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy). Funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday at the funeral home with entombment to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
