Ronnie Wayne Cox, 67, of Sellersburg, Indiana died on April 22, 2014 at his home.
Ronnie was born on December 6, 1946 in Winslow, Indiana to the late Alva & Edna May (Bolin) Cox. He was a proud retired veteran of the United States Air Force where he served as an airplane mechanic. Ronnie was a well-traveled man and in his later years loved taking trips with his wife.
He is survived by his wife, Mary (Cornett) Cox; son, Robert Cox; daughter, Robin DeSousa (Jim); step-children, Wayne Brewer (Pam), Marlo Werblo (Joe), & David Brewer (Pam); brother, Roger Cox (Doris); sister, Betty Holshoser (Jim); 3 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and 9 step-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2 to 6 PM Friday, April 25, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN) with a Memorial Service taking place at 6 PM in the chapel at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ronnie's family (In care of Mary Cox).
