Rondal O. Thompson

Rondal O. Thompson Sr., 79, of New Albany, Indiana was called home on Tuesday, March 3, 2015. Rondal was born on March 12, 1935 in Columbia, Kentucky to Marvin E. and Maudie P. (Cravens) Thompson. He worked for Vittitow Refrigeration for 38 years, was a member of Clarksville Church of Christ in Clarksville, Indiana, he enjoyed reading, farming and was a devoted hard worker.

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, T. Kay Thompson, children; Rondal O. Thompson, Jr. (Sharon), Lyndell W.Thompson (Paula), and Martha A. Allen (James); brothers, Edgar Thompson(Donna) and Floyd Thompson; sisters, Barbara Chandler, Beverly Thompson, and Joyce Elder, three grandchildren, Linda Thompson, Stephen Thompson, and Jennifer Allen.

Visitation will be on Friday, March 6, 2015 from 3 to 8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana). His Funeral Service will be on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 11 AM at Newcomer Funeral Home with burial to follow at Kraft Graceland Memorial Cemetery in New Albany.
