Ronald "Ron" Lee Torstrick, 67, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2019.
He was born on January 29, 1952 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Herman and Elsie (Green) Torstrick.
Ron will always be remembered as being a true family man, loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He had a wonderful sense of humor, had a passion for cooking as a way to bring people together, loved traveling, and was a friend to all. Ron retired from B&J Trucking in May of 2019 with over 40 years in the trucking industry.
Ron is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Susie Torstrick, daughter, Tara Oliver (Steve), son, Matthew Torstrick, grandchildren, Hayden and Harper Oliver, sister, Patricia Torstrick Jensen (Carl), nephew Jeffrey Jensen, niece Stephanie Milward (Aaron) and brother-in-law Wally Roberts (Karen).
Per Ron's wishes cremation was chosen and a Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, July 29, 2019 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Gheens Foundation Lodge in The Parklands of Floyds Fork (1421 Beckley Creek Pkwy, Louisville, KY 40245).
The family requests that contributions in Ron's memory be made to Cedar Lake Foundation.
