Ron Pennell, age 66 of Louisville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Friday, July 24, 2015. He was a member of Hurstbourne Christian Church (Disciples), where he sang in the choir. He was a retired educator with Jefferson County Schools. Ron loved photography, camping and traveling. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arch and Helen Pennell.
Ron is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Brenda; brothers, Cliff Pennell (Gerry) and John Pennell (Debbie); 3 nieces and 1 nephew and their families; and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be Monday, July 27, 2015 from 4-7pm at Hurstbourne Christian Church, 601 Nottingham Parkway, Louisville, Kentucky. Services will be at his church, 10am Tuesday with entombment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
Memorials may be made to Hurstbourne Christian Church (Disciples) Permanent Fund.
