Ronald K. Nicks

Ronald K. Nicks, 74, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2020. Ronnie had a passion for his work and spent his entire life as an electrician. He enjoyed boating and spending time at the lake and loved horses.

He was born on August 26, 1945, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late Roy and Ruby Nicks. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his former wife, Sharon Nicks; and son, Michael Nicks.

Ronnie is survived by his wife of 17 years, Beverly Nicks; daughter, Sandra (Drew) Drewniak; son, Scotty (Lisa Lang) Nicks; stepdaughter, Dianna Huston; brother, Pete (Karen) Nicks; grandchildren, Sydni Nicks, Shelbi (Caleb) Ball, Austin Nicks, Savannah Drewniak, and Charlotte Drewniak; step-grandchildren, Corey Buntain, Brittany Buntain, and Johnathan Huston; and step-great-grandchildren, Dalyon, Dalton, Dayla, and Abel.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 28, 2020, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana). Visitation will continue on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with his Funeral Service following at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
