Ronald L. Love

Ronald L. Love, 85, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Friday, November 15, 2019. Ronald was a very gifted artist who enjoyed painting. He was an avid gardener and loved to fish. Ronald was a long-time member of Living Church of God in New Albany where he was very involved with the spokesman club and singing in the choir. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army.

He was born on December 10, 1933 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Samuel and Ruth (Dailey) Love. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Leonard "Bud" Love, Frances Moore, Evelyn Shelton and Thelma Blanton.

Ronald is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Betty Nance Love, whom he married at St. Marks Church on May 3, 1953; son, Paul (Vickie) Love; daughter, Janice (Michael) Goetz; son, Nathan Love; grandchildren, Elizabeth (Josh) Hollis, Douglas Love, Hanna (Ray) Lockman, Thomas Goetz and Andrew Love; and great-grandchild, Henry Hollis.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
