Ronald James Conners

Ronald James Conners, age 74 of Louisville, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2016. He was originally from Saratoga Springs, NY and was an Army Veteran of 20 years. Ron attended a variety of colleges, but was most proud of his degree with Indiana State University where he achieved a PhD in Psychology. Also in retirement, he enjoyed substitute teaching and was involved in grant writing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mariam Conners.

Ron is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Bonnie Conners; children, Kenny Conners (Tiffany), Lynn Little (Johnny), Debbie Conners (Dennis), Mark Conners, Ronald Conners (Diana), Melanie Williams (Joe), Jillian McCarthy (Thomas) and Carrie Keller (Kenny); grandchildren, Tyler Horton (Amy), Madison Keller, Aidyn Keller, Lacie Little (Mindy), Brandon Neely, Chad Conners, Kasi Conners, Stephen Conners, Paul Terry Phipps (JoEtta), Michelle Hulbert (Kacy), Houston Conners, Brianna Conners, McKenna Conners, Samantha Conners, Alex Conners, Jennifer Huskisson, Mandy Conners, Nicholas Conners, Olivia McCarthy and Hannah McCarthy; 7 great-grandchildren; brothers, Albert Conners and Dave Conners; and a host of relatives and friends.

Services will be private.
