Ronald Clark Jackman, 79, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on October 15, 2025. He was born on February 20, 1946, in Louisville. He was a devoted husband, uncle, brother-in-law and friend.
Ronald proudly served as a veteran in the United States Air Force, embodying the spirit of duty and service. He enjoyed a long and fulfilling career with the Kentucky Department of Health and Human Services before retiring. His commitment to public service was evident in every aspect of his professional life, as he worked diligently to improve the lives of those around him.
Ronald was a graduate of the University of Kentucky, where he forged lifelong connections and developed a strong sense of community. His faith was an essential component of his life; he was a member of Southeast Christian Church and a part of the Sojourners Sunday School Class. His engagement in church activities reflected his values of kindness, generosity, and fellowship.
He is survived by his loving wife, Judith Jackman; nieces Karen (Tommy) Morgan and Cassandra (Nick) Skaggs; great nephew Christopher (Kristen) Reynolds and their children Kylie and William; great nephew Michael (Sydney) Murphy; great niece Hannah Murphy; and his sister-in-law, Marcella West.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carlos and Thelma Jackman, and his brother, Alan Jackman. Ronald's legacy of caring and community service will live on in the hearts of those he touched throughout his life.
