Ronald Earl Nelson

October 2, 1950 — June 28, 2014

Ronald Earl Nelson, age 63 of Buckner, Ky., passed away Saturday, June 28, 2014. He was a graduate of Iowa State University with a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering and worked with many companies, the latest being Manitowoc Beverage and General Electric. He attended Northeast Christian Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Earl O. Nelson.

Ron is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Joan; children, Stacy Pohlman, Lindsay Reynolds (Chad), Laura Berg (Will), Ryan Nelson (Jo); mother, Maxine Nelson; sister, Jane Murdoch (Al); 9 grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.

A celebration of Ron's life will be 2pm Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at Northeast Christian Church, 9900 Brownsboro Road with visitation there from 11am until time of service.
