Ronald "Ronnie" Cobble, 83, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2025.
Ronnie was a beloved husband, father, papaw, and friend whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of countless individuals. He found joy in simple pleasures, whether it was fishing, participating in beef shoots, or gathering with his cherished family. Known for his generosity, Ronnie was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. For 25 years, he dedicated himself to his craft as a brick mason, earning the respect and affection of all the local builders who had the privilege to work alongside him. The love and camaraderie he shared with his community will never be forgotten.
Born on September 22, 1941, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Edward and Hattie (Reinhart) Cobble, Ronnie grew up surrounded by family and love. He is preceded in death by his son, Walter "Scotty" Cobble, and his brother, Donnie Cobble.
Ronnie leaves behind his devoted wife of 51 years, Charlene Cobble, along with his sons, Russell and Ronnie "Leon" Cobble, and his daughters, Kimberly Lee and Crisenda (Terry) Townley. He was a proud papaw to nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren, all of whom will carry his memory in their hearts forever. His extended family and friends will also hold dear the memories of his loving spirit.
