Ronald Virgil "Ronny" Clements, 83, of Hardinsburg, Indiana, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2017. He was a founding member of the Hardinsburg Volunteer Fire Department and the owner of Ronny's Service/Clements Propane in Hardinsburg for over 40 years. Ronny was also a school bus driver for West Washington School Corporation for more than 20 years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #457 in Fredericksburg, as well as a member of Depauw Memorial UMC and a former member of Hardinsburg UMC. Ronny enjoyed music, spending time with his family and friends, and watching the world go by from his front porch swing.
He was born on October 16, 1933 in Hardinsburg to the late Arthur and Grace (Trinkle) Clements. Ronny was also preceded in death by his wife, Marcella (Ward) Clements; and sisters, Agnes Cramer and Darlene Ragains.
He is survived by his children, Barry Clements (Nannette), Rhonda Iglesias (Walter); grandchildren, Tyler Clements (Allison), Jordon Clements (Whitley), Brandon Clements, Jonathan Iglesias, Geraldin Iglesias, Selena Iglesias, Stephanie Iglesias; and great-granddaughters, Kylie and Zoe.
Visitation will be from 3 PM to 8 PM on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Friday after 10 AM at Depauw Memorial UMC (925 Vincennes Street, New Albany). His Funeral Service will take place at 12 PM on Friday at the church with burial to follow at Hardinsburg Cemetery.
