Ronald "PawPaw" Aldridge, 60, entered into eternal rest on February 12, 2023. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ronnie loved hunting, gardening, watching NASCAR and reruns of The Andy Griffith Show. He was an avid UofL and Raiders fan. Ronnie's favorite place to get a fish sandwich was at Mike Linnig's.
Ronnie was met at the gates of heaven by his wife, Catherine Aldridge, great-granddaughter, Nevaeh Meeks; parents, Grace and Thomas Lee Aldridge and brothers, Jerry Aldridge and Thomas Gale Aldridge.
Ronnie is survived by his friend and caregiver, Donna (Matt) Nugent; four legged companions, Cry Baby, Bella and Twinkie; step-sons, William "Billy Meeks and Dewey "Bo" (Rita) Meeks; 9 grandchildren, Racheal, Alexis, George, Shelby, Brooke, Saylor, Aaron, Kathrine "Mia" and William "Tony"; 7 great-grandchildren, George, jr., Dawn, Ayden, Elizabeth, Skylar, Ocean and Asher and a host of friends.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 16, 2023, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY from 3pm-8pm.
