Ron Cornish, 70, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2021.
He was born on December 13, 1950 in Anderson County, Kentucky to the late Elvin and Anna Lou (Hooper) Cornish. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Jimmy Cornish, Jackie Cornish and Harold Cornish. Ron retired from Yellow Cab. After retirement, Ron became a "jack of all trades"; spending countless hours out in his garage. He also loved spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren, and his pup, Danni.
Ron is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Debra Cornish, children, Sarah (Chase) Roberts, Scott Singleton, Amanda (Chris) Wilson, Stephanie (Oscar) Logsdon and Brian (Shannon Basham) Singleton, grandchildren, Emily Daugherty, Kristen Wilson, Savannah Singleton, Khloe Wilson and 5 more grandchildren, and his sister, Nancy (Monte) Hale.
Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, at the funeral home.
