Romeo Alonso Ambrosio

Romeo Alonso Ambrosio, 83, of Louisville, Kentucky formerly of Ft. Washington, Maryland passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 5, 2017. He was born in Urdaneta, Philippines on January 7, 1934 to the late Aurelio and Esperanza Ambrosio.
He was a member of St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church and was a retired barber. He was an avid basketball fan.
Romeo is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Joan Scott-Ambrosio; three sons Maurice (Arlene) Ambrosio, Matthew (Tia) Ambrosio and Romeo (Dan Scott) Ambrosio, M.D.; grandchildren, Yazmine Ambrosio, Dominic-Maurice Ambrosio and Annalise Ambrosio; a nephew, Martin Garriss; and a host of other family members and friends.
The family will gather on Saturday, April 8, 2017 from 2-6 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at St. Columba Catholic Church, 7804 Livingston Road, Oxon Hill, MD 20745 with burial to follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Lee Funeral Home, 6633 Old Alexandria Ferry Road, Clinton, MD, 20735.
