Roger Stephen Staser

Roger Stephen "Steve" Staser, 54, of Greenville, Indiana, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2019. Steve was a lover of life, family, and friends. He loved gardening, beekeeping, attending turkey shoots, and was an avid music lover. He will always be remembered as "the life of the party."

He was born on September 5, 1965, in New Albany, Indiana, to Donna (Baker) and the late Roger Staser.

Along with his mother, Steve is survived by his siblings, Donnie (Connie) Staser, Karin (Julian) Naville, Tim (Danelle) Staser, Martha Laffoon, and Kevin (Ashari) Staser; 11 nieces and nephews; and many friends and extended family.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 29, 2019, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany. His Memorial Service will be at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. Cremation was chosen in regards to Steve's wishes. Private burial will follow at a later date at St. Mary Navilleton Catholic Cemetery in Floyds Knobs.

The family requests that contributions in Steve's memory be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
