Roger was married to his high school sweetheart, Lee, for 54 years. Their long marriage was a central part of his life and a reflection of the love and faith that guided him through the years.

Pappy’s life passion was sharing Jesus with anyone and everyone. He was a true disciple maker whose impact was immeasurable. His humble and selfless nature helped him build lasting relationships, always centered on fearlessly sharing Jesus. He cared deeply about people and prioritized their salvation above all else. His steady, intentional way of living, especially with his grandchildren, created a lasting legacy of making Jesus the foundation for all of life.

To spend time with Pappy was to be on an adventure. Whether it was a trip to the state fair, a family vacation, camping, sleepovers, bike riding, bus rides, or simply one-on-one time, he made the people around him feel that they were his priority. These memories will be cherished with deep love and gratitude by all who knew him.

Roger is survived by his beloved wife, Lee; his two sons, Keith Dillon and his wife, Angie, and Scott Dillon and his wife, Holly; his 15 grandchildren and spouses, his 5 great-grandchildren; his mother, Jeanne Trent; and his brother, Louis Trent. He also leaves behind many loved ones who were touched by his faith, kindness, and example.
