Bliss Roger Morris, 69, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on May 2, 2015. He retired from Sypris Technology.
Roger was born on December 30, 1945, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Arthur and Gladilous Bliss.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, LaVerne Joyce Bliss; daughter, Jennifer Nicole Mudd (Jeff); step-daughters, Helen Shimzu (John), and Melondy Ganshaw; 6 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild; brothers, Ronald Bliss (Norma) and Gerald Bliss (Rhonda); and many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville). A funeral service to honor the life of Roger will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home-Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery in Radcliff, KY.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in loving memory of Roger.
