Roger Lee Hunter, 67, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on December 23, 2017.
Roger was born on February 4, 1950 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Wilbur Hunter and Dora (Abell) Parish. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his siblings, Launetta Brown, Clarence Hunter, Edward Gene Hunter, Yolanda Hunter, and Robin Hunter.
Roger is survived by his daughter, Jacquella Redd (Tyyu); son, Marshaun Long; sisters, Barbara Washington, Wilma Ellis, Norma Lacy (William), Margaret Hunter, Brenda White, Maria Dorsey, Cheryl Hunter; brothers, Wilbert Hunter (Eva) and Keith Hunter (Liz); grandchildren, Tyyus Redd, Jade Webster, Juwan Long, Mason Long and Kayla Cross.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm Friday, December 29, 2017 at Howard Chapel Missionary Baptist Church (1715 E. Market Street, New Albany, IN). His Funeral Ceremony will be held Friday at 1:00 pm at Howard Chapel Baptist Church with burial to follow at Westhaven Cemetery in New Albany.
