Roger Lee Harmon

April 18, 1946 — February 3, 2022

Roger Lee Harmon, age 75 of Louisville, passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022. Roger was proud to be an Army Veteran. After retiring from the Kentucky Department of Transportation you could find him enjoying his days on the golf course. He was also a very talented craftsman that loved craft sales. Camping and going to casinos were just a couple of activities he enjoyed doing with his wife. He was a family man that loved being with his wife, children and grandchildren at every opportunity. He was preceded in death by his parents Royce and Rose Harmon, sisters Debbie Towner and Linda Wolfe.

Roger leaves to cherish his wife of 54 years Songia Kay Harmon; sons, Brent Harmon and Josh (Kristan) Harmon; granddaughters, Skylar and Hayden Harmon; and one very cherished fur baby, Romes. Surviving siblings are brothers, Larry (Sandy) Harmon, Rance (Marilyn) Harmon, Randy Harmon, and sister, Lisa Harmon Casey; and a host of family and friends.

A gathering to celebrate Roger's Life will be 4 to 8pm on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243.

Memorials may be made to charities that support animal care or our Veterans.
