Roger Bradford, 68, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2018.
He was born on January 29, 1950 in Morganfield, Kentucky to the late Charles and Agnes (Henshaw) Bradford. He is preceded in death by his sister Debbie Bradford and brother David Bradford.
Roger is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Sheila Bradford (Sollman); children Silouan Ryan Bradford (Mary Elizabeth) and Kristina Bradford, granddaughter Anna Bradford, sisters Becky Taylor (Ron), Pam Pritchett (Sam), brothers Paul Bradford (Connie) and Phil Bradford (Pam). He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Roger was known by his friends and family as a devoted servant of Christ, a man of great generosity and a humble servant of many. He loved reading his Bible, cycling and caring for the person in front of him. He was a dedicated and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY 40243).
Visitation will also be on Monday, August 27, 2018 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am in the Fireside Room at Southeast Christian Church (920 Blankenbaker Parkway Louisville, KY 40243) with the funeral service to start at 11:00 am in the Chapel with burial to follow in Fairmount Cemetery in Huntingburg, Indiana.
