Rodney Dee Blumenberg, 62, of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, February 15, 2019.
He was born on January 11, 1957 in Chicago, Illinois to Jasper and Vera Blumenberg, both of whom survive him. He was an Air Force/Army Veteran who was employed by Securitas Security, stationed at Norton's Children's Medical Center, along with various other locations throughout Louisville.
He is preceded in death by his Brother, Joseph Paul Blumenberg.
Rodney is survived by his loving Wife, Denice Blumenberg, Father, Jasper Blumenberg, Mother, Vera Blumenberg, Brothers, Kenneth (Karen), Dale (Lucille), and Roger (Delmecia) Blumenberg, Stepchildren, Robert and Ronald Smith, Tandinika (Frederick) Dawson, Zenobia (Clayton) Womack, and a host of Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, February 22, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY). His Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, at Powerhouse of Praise and Deliverance (1105 Woodland Dr, Elizabethtown, KY) with burial to follow at a later date at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, KY.
