Robin Faye Lusco Lawe, 63, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, December 5, 2021.
She was born on July 1, 1958 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Pete and Hester (McKenzie) Lusco. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Deanna Lusco, Pete Lusco, Jr. and Charlotte Lusco.
Robin was a beloved mother, grandmother and natural born teacher. She loved being around children. Her love for children allowed her to have a fulfilling career through Jefferson County Public School System; she retired as a Teacher. Robin will always be remembered as being the "life of the party" and being confident in who she was and what she has accomplished! After retirement, Robin enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening and more recently woodworking. She will be known for many things to many people, but most importantly she will be remembered for all the memories and love she leaves behind to her children, grandchildren and family.
Robin is survived by her loving children, Tai Lawe and Alexander (April) Meads, grandchildren, Tristan Lawe and Genesis Meads, brothers, Jerry (Mildred) Lusco, Eugene (Wanda) Lusco, Russell Lusco, Lucian Lusco, Louis (Cynthia) Lusco and Richard (Linda) Lusco, sisters, Alice Lusco Holbrook, Joan (George) Lusco Mitchell, Juanita (Curtis) Lusco Brown and Carol Lusco Pike, along with a host of nephews, nieces and great nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her life celebration will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, at the funeral home.
