Robin Lee DeSpain

Robin Lee DeSpain, 63 of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2024. A devoted mother, nana, sister, aunt, and friend. warmth and kindness touched the lives of many. She was a dedicated registered nurse for many years in Louisville, KY, a profession she held with great pride.

Born on July 6, 1961, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, she was the daughter of Charles and Norma (Murphy) Williams. Robin is preceded in death by her father, Charles Richard Williams; her mother, Norma Jean Bangs; her grandchild, Baby Boeckman; and her brother, Mark Bangs.

Robin leaves behind her loving family, including her son, Mark Anthony (Aleshia Bassham) Feireisel; her daughter, Jamie Feireisel (Donald) Boeckman; and her cherished grandchildren, Brandon Feireisel, Andrew Boeckman, Mark Feireisel II, Olivia Feireisel, and Bradley Feireisel. She is also survived by her sister, Mary (Richard) Webb; her niece, Tiffany Webb; her nephews, Anthony Webb and Christopher Webb; her best friend, Hilda Pierce; Friend/Caregiver, Tracy (Brian) Polly; as well as numerous family members and friends who will forever treasure her memory.

In addition to her family and friends, Robin had a variety of passions that shaped her life. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, gardening, fishing, crafting, and immersing herself in football and Motown music. An animal lover at heart, she found joy in the companionship of her pets.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy).
