Robin Denise Decker Ashby, 53, died Wednesday, January 25 in Louisville KY.

Robin grew up enjoying basketball and cheerleading at Valley High School and went on to be a loving and caring mother to both of her daughters, raising them to lead their own lives. She was a horse-show mom who always found happiness in her daughters' successes and a wonderful sister and daughter who was always there for support and advice. Her life was centered around the admirable people in her life and giving what she could to help others. She retired from Decker & Sons Heating and Cooling.

She was born on July 29, 1963, in Louisville, Kentucky to Gerald and Barbara Decker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Timmy Ashby; mother, Barbara Decker; and sister, Debbie Decker-Bickel.

She was survived by her Father, Gerald Decker; brothers, Carl Decker (Janet) and Mike Decker; and her two daughters, Jenifer Ashby and Jesica Ashby.

Her Funeral Service will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40272) on Monday, January 30, 2017 at 1:00 pm. Her visitation will be on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at the funeral home from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
